Geneva Phonograms Convention - refers to the Convention for the Protection of Producers of Phonograms Against Unauthorized Duplication of Their Phonograms, concluded at Geneva, Switzerland, on October 29, 1971.

Gold album - refers to a certification mark awarded by the RIAA for a phonorecord that sells at least 500,000 units.

Graham Factors - refers to the prongs of the test for obviousness in determining patent novelty. The factors are:

  • the scope and content of the prior art;
  • the level of ordinary skill in the prior art;
  • the differences between the claimed invention and the prior art; and
  • objective evidence of nonobviousness.

Gross Square Feet of Space - is a term used to describe the area of an establishment and means the entire interior space of that establishment, and any adjoining outdoor space used to serve patrons, whether on a seasonal basis or otherwise. The terms "including" and "such as" are illustrative and not limitative.
