Unfair Competition

Unfair competition is an umbrella term for causes of action arising from multiple legal disciplines. It most commonly refers to causes of action for misappropriation, theft of trade secret, or trademark infringement, but also often involves antitrust, patent, copyright, contract, domain name, and many other issues.

An attorney can not only help you prosecute or defend claims of unfair competition, but also assist you in legal planning and structuring for your business to make it less susceptible to unfair competition, and prepare procedures for in the event a third party unfairly competes with you.
